From Notting Hill with Four Weddings . . . Actually by Ali McNamara
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
My thoughts. 5/5
Those of you that know me, will know I'm a huge Crime fiction fan. Occasionally I enjoy reading something a little different, a little more lighthearted. The last couple of months I have probably read more Chic Lit that I have ever read before, and I have really been enjoying the ones I have read.
And this one really does have the feel good factor.
This is the first book I have read from this Author, and I believe this is the 3rd book in this series. With it being the first one I have read, I don't feel like i missed out on anything, I was still able to follow the story, and understand what was going on. But now I have read it, I keep thinking I want to go back and read the first two now.
This book definitely get's a five star rating from me. The characters were great, I instantly liked Scarlet, She was fun. And I loved how no matter how bad she thought things were going to be, everything just seemed to turn out good for her.
And Oscar just seemed like a proper character, as I know my friend will not read this I can honestly say he just made me think of my daughters God father all the time. I must remember not to call him Oscar when I see him. A real Queen.
All the characters in the book, were really likable, except for one, but you'll feel the same when you read it. A few time's i thought, oh I know where this is going, but i got it so wrong.
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC.
