I don’t normally read books in this genre, So for me this was not just a step but a giant leap out of my comfort zone.
I can safely say I will be reading more books like this, and look forward to reading more from this author.
Set in the Worthing area in the 1940's this really struck home how times have changed. Especially when someone had to run to the phone box to phone the police. We take so much for granted today.
3 Married ladies are about to find out just how much they have in common, and how kindness can bring them together. How to overcome hardship and carry on with life.
A gripping read, full of surprises and I wanted to just sit reading it until I finished.
