Review: The Blissfully Dead

The Blissfully Dead The Blissfully Dead by Louise Voss
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Well this is the second book I have read from this writing Duo, and the 2nd book to feature DI Patrick Lennon. A character who I got to like in the first book I read. From The Cradle .
This was another brilliantly written book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I really want more to read from this series and I want it NOW.
I can't wait for the next book.
I do believe you could read this book as a stand a lone, but if you are like me, you will want to read the first book first, as although book 2 does give you character backgrounds, you get a better feel and sense of the characters having read the first book first.
So Di Lennon is off again with another case. This time trying to figure out who has murdered a young girl. her body found in a hotel and no apparent motive, when a second girl is found the link becomes a little clearer.
the pace of this book was spot on, it kept me wanting to read on, to know what was happening next, and who was responsible, I found myself picking up this book at every opportunity.
I look forward to reading more from these authors.
