Review: Watch Me

Watch Me Watch Me by James Carol
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

After feeling like I was getting to know Jefferson Winters in book one, I jumped right into this one, book 2. Since finishing this one, I have now started book 3. #JefforsonBinge
I really am enjoying getting to know a new character. I'm enjoying the writing style and the stories that James Carol is coming up with. Why oh Why have I had these books hanging around on my kindle for so long. (apart from the fact I buy far to many)
Ex-FBI profiler Jefferson Winter has taken a new case in sunny Louisiana. He has his work cut out here.
Sam Galloway has been set on fire and killed. But why, and why was the film of this sent to the police?.
Jefferson chooses to work along side Taylor a relatively new police officer and together they try and solve this case, but it really is proving to be a tricky one. Taylor was a character I like right from the beginning. A huge guy that seems to have a heart of gold.
There were threads throughout this book that really kept you guessing I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed. It was a great interesting read. And I read this in just over a day, which is pretty good for me.
I would say this could easily be read as a standalone but for me I find reading series of books should always be read in order, but that is just my personal opinion.
It certainly kept me wanting to turn the page. And I'm looking forward to continuing with book 3 now.
