Review: Bodily Harm

Bodily Harm Bodily Harm by Charlie Gallagher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

On a roll at the moment, checking out new authors to me and really enjoying some of my finds. This one is another find, that means I've also added another must read author to my list.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this.
Detective George Elms, a likeable and believable character. And learning about him and his family in this book was great. The ups and the downs, balancing home life and work life. There was times in this book I actually cried with or for George. A real likeable character.

I think in this book you can certainly tell it's written by someone who has been a serving officer. An interesting read full of suspense. Twists and turns but I found the ending a little strange, and had one or two questions that hadn't been answered.
Overall not a bad read.
