Review: The Winter Foundlings

The Winter Foundlings
The Winter Foundlings by Kate Rhodes

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book I have read by this author. but it's safe to say it will not be the last.

I recieved a review copy of this book. So i must say a big thank you to the publishers for allowing me to read and review it.

The winter foundling is book 3 featuring Alice Quentin. As I hadn't realised it was book 3, I have not read book one or two yet, but would at some point go back and read them.

Dr Alice Quentin is a Forensic Psychologist who is normally based at Guys Hospital in London but she is on a six month secondment to Northwood high security hospital.
Young girls are going missing, turning up Murdered. It turns out that the killings are very identical to ones that happened years ago, and the original killer is in the High security hospital that Alice is now based at.
Alice is asked to interview Louis Kinsella, she's dubious as he very rarley speaks to anyone.
But maybe he can help figure out why this new killer is carrying on from the exact point where Kinsella stopped.
Can Alice help the police and stop this copycat killer before any more young girls go missing.

all in all this book was very well written. And the main character was likeable and realistic. I found myself suspecting everyone throughout the book, yet I still managed to get it so so wrong. A brilliant ending. If you enjoy a good crime thriller then i would say this is a must read for you. A really well written and bloody enjoyable read.
