Review: The Secret of Orchard Cottage

The Secret of Orchard Cottage The Secret of Orchard Cottage by Alexandra Brown
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Whooooooo hoooooooo Loved, Loved being back in Tindledale. This place seems so real when reading this book and others featuring Tindledale, That you could almost be sat on a bench in the Village while reading the book. You are just taken away to this fictional world all the way through the book. It's just amazing. What more can I say.

An easy 5/5 for me. Enjoyed everything about it. Just in case I haven't made it obvious can I just say, I really enjoyed this book. lol.

After receiving a birthday card from her elderly Aunt Edith, April Wilson decides it's time to go and visit her for a few days. April is still trying to come to terms with her husbands death and is still very much going through the grieving process.
But visiting Tindledale fore any reason would warrant more than a couple days, and April ends up staying on a little longer than expected.
I thought the way Alex allowed April to go through her grieving process was wonderfully done. And the subject covered brilliantly. Some tough topics through this book, but so cleverly written and put together.

I loved the characters in this book, the Familiar ones from previous books and the new ones we are introduced to in this book. I especially loved Aunt Edith, and believe that if everyone who had ever lost someone, needs an Aunt like Edith and a Cottage like Orchard Cottage to go and get their thoughts together.

As usual I am worried of giving to much of the storyline away. But I need to let the world know this is a must read. I read mainly Crime fiction, but every now and then I like a change, and I've got that way now that I Can't wait for Alex to bring another book out for me to read, although i'm lucky in the sense I still have a few of her other books to catch up on.

And I'm not afraid to say I had tears in my eye's towards the end of this book.

A Truly First Class Read.

A super big thank you to the publishers, Author and Netgalley for a review copy of this book.
