Review: Why Mummy Swears: The Sunday Times Number One Bestseller

Why Mummy Swears: The Sunday Times Number One Bestseller Why Mummy Swears: The Sunday Times Number One Bestseller by Gill Sims
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I personally follow a number of 'MUMMY' blogs on social media and I thouroghly love the tales that are told. Some of the posts on line are priceless, I also love how these types of blogs get parents realising that not everything has to be perfect, you are not a failure when you stay in your pj's for 3 days, when you don't want to face the world. These blogs show the reality of family life.

This book is by a blogger of social media page is ‘Peter and Jane’
A page I love following.

This is what I actually put for the first book, Why Mummy Drinks.
It's hilarious in parts. It is just so much 'real life, the ups and downs of parenting and being a grown up. Trying to get it right when you know it's all wrong. Trying to smash parenting in a pretentious middle class way, and failing miserably. Trying to be a very good responsible adult is more difficult that people realise.

And I have to say for Why mummy Swears my thoughts are pretty much the same..

Kick back, lock the kids under the stairs and get yourself stuck into this book. It's a great read.
