Rough Justice by M.A. Comley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Wow
We are at book 10 all ready. I really feel like I've been on a journey with Lorne through her justice books.
If you have not read any of this series, personally I would suggest you start right at book 1. And follow the characters through the journey they have been on so far.
As this book is a little different from the others, in the sense that I feel the Psychic plays a bigger roll in helping with finding details about the crime, I feel if you know her involvement in other cases (previous books). I think you would understand her a little more.
Lorne and Kate are given a cold case. where Noelle a young dancer has gone missing. It soon becomes apparent that the 2 officers who were first dealing with the case, didn't do a very good job.
Lorne and Kate are trying to get information and a closure to what happened for Noelle's parents.
Carol the psychic plays a big part in helping with this case. I feel she probably worked a lot harder on this case than Kate and Lorne did.
Tony has carried on with Lornes PI business, re starting it with his partner Joe into their new business, I liked that Tony is slowly getting on with his own side of things. Charlie is still running the Kennels with help from Carol.
A well written and well put together story. This is not the first justice book I have needed a box of tissues for.
